ARTIST REBRAND FOR RIHANNA
Art Direction application for the Multicultural Advertising Internship program.
Rihanna’s rebrand is centered around matching her futuristic edgy and bright colored lingerie, featured in her latest fasion show, Savage x Fenty Vol. 2 and incorporating these iconic elements into her branding as an artist. It was in her recent fashion shows that the public has been able to see who Rihanna truly is and watch her creative vision fully blossom, which is why I wanted to carry that fierce, confident, bold tone to her brand as a music artist as well. I wanted her persona as an artist to be colorful and sexy, so I utilized high contrast colors and bright pink, purple, and neon to visually convey how her pop music mixed with R&B, makes fans feel.
